Blackstone Private Credit Fund Fills Half of Requests

Blackstone Private Credit Fund will fulfill repurchase requests equal to 5% of shares outstanding this quarter, roughly half of the approximately $4.3 billion investors sought, according to a shareholder letter the fund filed September 3, 2026 as an amendment to its Schedule TO. Requests represented about 10% of shares outstanding, marking the second consecutive quarter in which demand for liquidity exceeded the fund's quarterly cap. BCRED repurchased $2.20 billion of the $4.53 billion tendered in its prior window, or 48.6%, and investors resubmitted a significant portion of the resulting $2.3 billion backlog in the current quarter. The Q3 window opened August 4 and closed August 31, with accepted shares priced at the September 30, 2026 net asset value. The fund calls the request figures estimates pending finalization with its transfer agent and expects to disclose final dollar amounts in November.
